Franklin TN's bus service Special Pricing for Teens and Tweens 

Summer Special! Summer Special on Franklin's Bus Service

 

Starting June 1st through August 21st, those between the ages of 12 and 18 can ride the Franklin Fixed Route Service for just 50 cents!

 

While Mom's at work, you can be free to run around downtown, the pool at the Williamson County Recreation Center and the mall.

Now that is cool.  What a great program!  We had something like that when I was growing up.  Dial a Ride!  I want to say that was 50 cents too!!  Back in the early 70's!

Karen - I thought it was pretty neat too. I can't seem to access the transit site to link it. It's down for some reason.

Cindy - This is the first I"ve ever seen of it. I hope the kids take advantage of it and give their parents a break.

Conrad - Franklin is a pretty affluent town in a very affluent county. I don't know where the funding comes from.
