I found this big friendly black lab running through the front of my neighborhood and across a busy road last February. I brought him home as he had a collar but no identification. We have a yellow lab and once she established the pecking order she had a blast with him ( she comes from a large family). I was actually kinda hoping we would not find his owners as he was such a sweetheart. Very well behaved and a good companion for Carly. I wrote a blog post about him.
Kelly printed flyer's and put an add on Craigslist the next morning and by noon we had found his owners. They came and got him and were appreciative, Kelly doesn't mince words and told them they needed to get an I.D tag and keep him in his yard.
They sent us a thank-you card, nice!
I found him dead on the side of the road on Friday!!!!
Still no I.D. Tag
