This is wonderful news! I'll be visiting Encinitas in August, and it will be nice to have this so close by. Nice job on the post!

I know how you feel - we had a Whole Foods about 35 minutes away and a new one opened much closer.  What a relief!

Chicago has several Whole Foods and it is the way to go ... well, that and Trader Joes, a local brand who have been around is the same example of healthy living.

Jeff, Whole Foods seem to be growing all over California.  We recently had a new store open a few miles from my home. It's certainly a store like no other.

Congratulations, Jeff.  We are so spoiled here.  I have 4 of them in a one mile radius.   With those and Trader Joes - also 4 in a one mile radius, who needs to shop anywhere else.

I was there at the Opening this morning for the Bread Breaking. It was great fun and the place was mobbed. It was like seeing an old friend - we use to go to WM back in Boston all the time.

I like Boney's in Carlsbad, price are a lot cheaper, in Hawaii Whole Foods is pricy.

Steven - well I won't argue with you there. It is not the place to do all your shopping IMO.

Melissa - YES YES. Go visit, and buy!! Great eye candy here.
