Here are a Couple of Free Tickets - - - Pay it Forward
We recently attended an outdoor concert that featured Big Band Music and specifically the music of Benny Goodman. I truly enjoy listening to the swing music of the late 30's and 40's, and ther's nothing like hearing it live by a 16 piece orchestra.
We had made up our minds to go and as luck would have it, I simultaneously got an online offer to purchase 4 tickets for the price of 2. As I was in-line at the ticket booth, I saw a couple coming up in the same direction. Just as I received my tickets, they got in line behind me. I asked if they had needed tickets, and when they nodded yes, I just handed them our spares. A big smile on both their faces, made better as they were obviously of an age where they may have heard Benny Goodman Live at some time.
The music was grand, the crowd probably had a mean age of 60 and the people that got up to dance, knew the moves, even if they didn't flow as well as they once did.
A random Act of Kindness to bring a smile to a face and a lift to a soul, all on a great summer's eve.
