Local Marysville lender Dan Bliven, indicated today that FHA “Fixed” home loans are at 4.0%! However, this is due to the Fed’s announcement yesterday that they would keep rates down until mid 2013. Though there is no assurance that they will remain at 4.0% and change daily anyway. They averaged 4.55% in July.
Fannie Mae is still paying up to 3.5% for buyer’s closing cost but this promotion ends October 31st, 2011. There’s a very good selection of these homes currently in Snohomish County and surrounding areas. Let me know and I’ll send you some. I just closed a nice one in Marysville last month for under $150k.
Zero down USDA home loans are readily available in selected areas. This is a great way to take advantage of the market and even skip a month’s rent! After buying a home, you don’t pay your 1st payment for one month.
