National Night Out ~ August 2nd
National Night Out Against Crime is scheduled for Tuesday, August 2nd, from 5:00-9:00 p.m. on Main Street in downtown Lake Stevens. Now in its 13th year, this is one of Lake Stevens' most enjoyable and informative FREE events of the summer. Come be our guest for a free dinner and snacks, street entertainment, activities for kids (including a Bouncy House!), DJ Bob, “Guns and Hoses” showdown between the police and fire departments, free prizes, and dozens of informative booths on how to keep our community safe and strong.
Participants include local first responders, the armed forces, domestic violence/drug and alcohol abuse prevention resources, crime prevention, emergency management, personal safety, and much more! Donations of school supplies and backpacks for local families in need will be gratefully accepted at the registration table. Lake Stevens Ironman 70.3
The annual Lake Stevens Ironman 70.3 is coming on Sunday, August 14, 2011. Athletes will start their day with a 1.2-mile swim in Lake Stevens before taking on a challenging one-loop bike course that takes them on a scenic tour through Lake Stevens and the surrounding areas. The run course will lead athletes through the downtown area and along Lake Stevens. Click here for more information.
Monthly Chamber Luncheon
The Chamber's monthly luncheons are usually held on the second Monday of each month at 11:30 AM at the Lake Stevens School District Educational Service Center, 12309 22nd Street NE, Lake Stevens, WA. Our next luncheon is scheduled for Monday, August 8, 2011. Please RSVP by Wednesday, August 3.
