Running too hard on your "easy" days? Guilty as charged! When I am consulting with my training schedule, I tend to look at my easy days and think "that slow? You've gotta be kidding...."
But as our friends at Runner's World remind us, easy days are as essential as speedwork and hills for optimum performance when it counts. Just remember, it all boils down to how a run feels.
