"Wife Appreciation Day"

By
Real Estate Agent

I just noticed that today according to a desk calendar from a title company is "Wife Appreciation Day". So husbands here are a few tips to show your wife how much you appreciate her.

1.   Before you were married you made an effort to talk to her, she obviously enjoyed this.  So continue to make it an effort to communicate.  Small talk, serious talk, I'm interested in your day talk, just talk to her and she will appreciate it.

2.   Husbands who are also fathers knows what a job your wife has raising the children.  So when the entire family is away from home, assist her in handling the children instead of directing all your attention to other things or other people.

3.   Treat your wife with respect and one way you can do this is by being sensitive or by being aware of her physical and emotional needs.  If you have to ask, then find out what those need are and fulfill those needs, let her see that you care.

4.   Try letting kindness be your gift a true sign of appreciation.

5.   And most of all some husbands have a hard time doing this, be faithful to you wife and give your love to her alone and only her.  She will really appreciate and treasure you for it.

Dee - So that is what was up today!  I did not have the best morning.  Church ran late, I had less than an hour to get ready for my open house and my children had the house TORN APART!  I kept myself together, told them to clean up or no TV (I went and unplugged them so my husband would actually have to think before turning them on) heaved a huge sigh and left.  My open house went well but last client of the day would not leave, sending me into heavy traffic battling to get home.  I did not pull in until 6pm.  Steadied for the storm, I walked into:

Laundry finished, folded, put away

Beds laundered, made and ready for sleepy heads

Dinner made and on the table

Clean house including vaccum!

Outdoor animals all fed and watered

Children piano practiced and homework started

I almost walked out and went looking for my house.  I had prayed for a miracle this morning (thinking client) but I got so much more!

Dee, I wish I was STILL a wife, but years being divorced working all hours of day, may not happen.    I remember those glorious days!

Dee, I know you read my last post and attempt at humor sooo.......

First of all I wasn't following Michelle's comment at all!!!

Responding in order:

1.)  You're kidding...we still have to talk???

2.)  That's why she's raising them...I wouldn't want to interfere with a winning arrangement!

3.)  Sensitive? Us guys??  Have you known many guys???

4.)  Kindness...hang on...let me check a lexicon.

5.)  Faithful...I'll be at the lexicon a little longer.

6.)  :))

Joan,

Some people have waited for years to find a mate.  Meanwhile, they use the time to develop the qualities that would make them desirable mates. Think positively Joan, the day is yet young.  Somewhere out there is a mate for you.  You just have to go find him, the day is yet young.

Nick,
