Monday Morning Motivator & Some Points to Ponder...
"Sometimes it's important to work for that pot of gold. But other times it's essential to take time off and to make sure that your most important decision in the day simply consists of choosing which color to slide down on the rainbow. "
~ Douglas Pagels
There is something about this quote I really like as I continually come back to it when I seem to push too hard. It is far too easy for me to get "hung up" in tasks and chores and let the simple things in life go by. Today, I choose to take some time off just for me. How about you? What choices are you going to make today?
Hello Michael,
I just "go with the flow" after the appoinments for the day. I then fill the rest with getting caught up with all the e-mails and calls.
Then I take some "me time" and relax. And about that time I get calls and it all starts over again. LOL
Have a great day.
Best, Clint McKie
Michael, it is a good quote! I recently read the book 'Happier', since then I do make sure my day consists of something I like to do!
I have some beach front property in Tennessee that looks just like this. Trying to sell it. Any buyers?
Michael.....Awesome photo.....and a good thing to thing about today....Thanks!
Hope you have a great week!---Rob
Go Vols!
Michael, i've been trying to start meditating because it can truly relieve stress and can add years to your life...i'll let you know how i do...the quote is very telling...best
Hi Michael,
Great quote and fabulous picture. I like what Ginny say's. I've always liked to meditate, it is a good way to clear your mind. Sometimes we all need that. Enjoy your Monday.
A quote that I try and live by. It can be easy to get caught up in work all the while life is passing by.
Good morning Michael,
What a gorgeous photo..your eye and skill is truly amazing! We just have taken time off for our son's wedding in Austin and what a blessed event..the rehearsal dinner was fantastic and the wedding was so meaningful and fun! As soon as pictures start coming in I'll be sure and post :). Nothing like family and friends to share in the joy of a commitment of two very special young adults :). Now it's back to work with two new listings coming on line and a new buyer who needs something ASAP.
Wow...stunning photo..I could stare at that for quite awhile, and hey, isnt that the point of the post? I am gonna!
Once again you've outdone yourself my friend. Excellent Monday Morning Movitator and Points to Ponder!
Love the photo and the quote, a simple, "stop and smell the roses" message.
Ahhhh,,,,,....... that can only mean one thing. More inspiration and more amazing photo's about to be discovered! Now go on get to chillin', rejouvinatin' and relaxin'. Go slide down what ever color you choose, but be sure not to get a splinter!
Have heard some great quotes and am a fan of taking time off to recharge the batteries, but never heard the phrase of choosing what color to slde down the rainbow! Awesome picture, which color did you choose! Enjoy your day!
Wonderful quote, Michael, Thank you for sharing!
Have a nice day.
Tatyana.
Michael

Michael: Hope you enjoyed having some time to yourself. Sometimes the body, mind and soul needs time to replenish.
I was up early as I had a seminar i Barrie today Michael... I guess early is relative, since you really are an early bird =)
Micheal - I was commenting on your newest post and saw the top of this post and had to come back and tell you what a magical photo this is. So glad I didn't miss it! I am always and I mean always in awe of your photography skills and for you to say that I'm a good photographer is the highest complement because I've never come close to getting a photo as stunning as this.
Your work never ceases to amaze me. You are a brilliant photographer and you continue to inspire me to become a better photographer.
Michael - this is not a local scene. I do enjoy a sunset on the water, and it would be tough to beat this one.
This is such a beautiful picture that you should submit it as the photo of the year that I think MSN has. It is first rate. I would vote for it.
