Gumbo's Restaurant, Bee Cave
It was a mystery for a long time just which restaurant was going to open it's doors in the vacant building, near Best Buy in the Shops at The Galleria.
When the center announced that Gumbo's was going in, the community was very excited. Gumbo's has been an icon in Austin for a number of years, beginning in north Austin in a very small space and expanding to four locatings today. (I still love going to the downtown venue).
Tonight we are headed to dinner at this yummy spot. Since I knew Gumbo's suggested reservations, I looked online to get the phone number to call and make our reservations...and, low-n-behold, they had an online reservation service. VERY COOL and so easy.
