Dumpster Diver

My wife and I go by our local dumpster a couple times a week and retrieve huge garbage bags of their leftover popcorn to take just down the road and feed to the ducks at our local walking trail.  Yesterday I was shocked to peek inside only to find the carcass of some huge unidentifiable dead animal.  I called the local police to tell them of my find and they told me, and I quote “That’s normal.”  Tell me people, is it normal in your city to dispose of dead animals in a business dumpster?

Morning James-well things just ain't like they used to be-right? In my opinion there is nothing "normal" about that period.

Keep on feeding James.  We take my 5 yr old grandson to the lake to feed the ducks and the park to feed the deer. He was just there yesterday :)

Have to agree with Marco. Hope things get back to normal for you and you can feed the ducks. Enjoy your day!

Hi James, Really?

Dumpster diving is not on the "to do list" LOL.

They do find dead animals here as well. I just wonder why they don't have a shovel and bury poor "Fluffy" in the back yard.

Just never know.

Best, Clint McKie

Let the ducks fend for themselves...what is going to happen when you can't bring dirty popcorn any longer?

Can't imagine doing that in 100+ degree heat. That animal would stink up the whole neighborhood in no time. Doesn't seen normal too me.

hahaha .. Yuck! I guess it all depends on what city you live in. Here in the south we just leave em on the side of the road. If someone else doesnt come by and pick it up then it just stays were it is. ( J )
