Selma Texas is a small community located in Guadalupe County Texas and is surrounded by Comal and Bexar County Texas. Currently there are only approximately 400 single family residences in Selma Texas so when you look at the number of active vs sold Selma Texas homes for sale, you can see that the Real Estate Market in Selma Texas is fairly stable. There are a lot of newer subdivisions in the Selma Texas area such as Retama Ridge and Retama Springs, but there are also those neighborhoods in Selma Texas that are considered more established. One such neighborhood is Olympia. Now Olympia, although in Selma Texas also lies in the city of Universal City, and is considered to be in Bexar County Texas as opposed to Guadalupe County. The Olympia subdivision in Selma Texas/Universal City is considered a very desirable neighborhood to live in and provides a small community feel with only around 107 single family homes. People who set down roots in Olympia tend to stay there so when a home comes up for sale, it can go fairly quickly. Homes in the Olympia neighborhood have been established since 1981 to more recent in 2006, have larger lots each home tends to have at least a quarter of an acre or more and most homes are well over 2000 square feet, (there are some with smaller lots, but not many).
Currently there are 20 homes available for sale in the Olympia Subdivision in either Selma Texas or Universal City Texas. Homes sizes are from a little over 1700 square feet to 3500 square feet with prices starting from as low as the mid $160s up to the high $400's with the median price being in the mid $200s. The neighborhood itself is very close to excellent shopping at the Forum off of 1604 and Rolling Oaks mall. Olympia is in the acclaimed Judson Independent School District.
