Wedding Madness.....

How long has it been since you attended a wedding?

For us it had been about a year and although this wedding was extremely upscale,  the basics were the same.

Just like so many things in life the where's and how's do not overshadow the whys.

From a completely practical point of view, it begs the question about why one would spend thirty or forty thousand dollars  on something that the same result can be achieved  for a couple of hundred bucks. (Yeah..... I know.... the little princess has been dreaming of this day since Barbie doll days.... blah, blah, blah.....)

For the thirty or forty grand spent,  a nice down payment could have been made on a great home to start out in.  Perhaps my age and background are preventing me from seeing the point?

As someone who worked the wedding industry for 20 years, I have seen from $2,500-$100,000 weddings and those big weddings always amazed me. At the time, the could have bought a house!
