Fab Five of Apps!

As I continue my discovery of how much the iPhone can do and the 100's of apps you can download I have found some really cool apps. So, here are my Fab Five of Apps!

1.     Where – Discover your new favorites anywhere. This app helps you find things to do, places to eat or great shows to see wherever you happen to be.

2.     GH @HomeiPhone AppsGood Housekeeping @Home app gives you tips on stain busters, do-it-all cleaning, home décor, news and more.

3.     Flashlight – this one is so cool, no more fumbling to make the key chain flashlight work when I discover the property I am showing does not have electricity and I can’t see in a dark basement.

4.     NBC Connecticut – I can now keep up on my local top stories, weather forecast, news and much more. Check for your local affiliate’s app.

5.     Card Munch – this is a great app to network but only if you use LinkedIn. This allows you to take a picture of a business card the contact information is captured and a request to connect on LinkedIn is sent. Easy as taking a picture.

They really aren’t joking when they say there is an app for everything. I’m sure this is just the beginning of my discoveries so check back I’ll share more later. So, what are your Fab Five of Apps?

Patricia~anytime, I have been amazed at what I have been able to find. Oh and all are FREE! There is one app I think I will break down and buy is one that identifies music and will tell you who sings it and will find itunes if available. Good luck!

Hi Jamie -- I LOVE the flashlight app. When I downloaded it, I thought it was kind of silly. But, not only has it come in handy opening doors in the dark, it led me through the woods when a hike went long.

I constantly use my flashlight app. With short evenings and REO properties, it's a must have.

Lottie & Ellie ~ The flashlight is truly the must have. Had to laugh as there were 3-4 different FREE apps to choose from.

Eric ~ Glad you found Card Munch, great networking tool. The more I learn about LinkedIn the more I realize how under used it is. Great tool!

Patricia ~ thank you for the Favorites linking!

Have a great week all!

Rosalie~couldn't agree more! I kept getting caught at REO properties w/o a flashlight or a dead battery.

Margaret~Absolutely!!

Glenn~interesting. I didn't get the fab or download the supra app as I am frequently in areas where cell service is poor which means I then it doesn't work. So, I did not upgrade that technology.

Jimmy~glad you liked.

Have a great week all!

Hi Jamie - I have a Blackberry (but not for long - I'm upgrading).  Anyway, I have the flashlight app and I love it.  It helps when unlocking a door in the dark, but it also helps when looking in a furnace closet with no light, or other dark corners of a house when touring with buyers.

Judy & Susan ~ so true! This is an app for everyone no matter their job or life!

Linda ~ I like it! When I first downloaded it I didn't realize it automatically sends a request via LinkedIn, so I think I have a few personal contacts that were probably confused like my orthopedic doctor :-) Oh well...
