I really enjoy cycling events. I once rode in Cycle Oregon - five days of intense riding through various terrain in rural Oregon. It was challenging, but so rewarding.

Hi Debb,

I have done this one but it was a long time ago. It is a yearly event and has gained national status. I remember taking my daughter to it when she was 5 years and up. The first year, she did the KinderTot RUN. Then she learned to ride a 2 wheeler and rode for a couple of years in the kids events. She did pretty good and always placed. Those were fun days for all.

Wow, a 5 day event must have been grueling!

Hi Juli,

The weather is wonderful right now. Today we are supposed to be about 80 degrees. Last Sunday we were 55 degrees and storming. Amazing weather right now and you never know how to dress. I have started keeping a coat in the car just in case. Have fun bicycling.

Hi Steve,

I always did races and half and full marathons. My daughter is the bicyclist. She is always buying a new bike. I have lost count how many she has. Thanks for stopping.

Yes the Bike Classic is a national sponsored event and attracts many cyclist from all over the country. It is popular due to the nice weather and the beautiful terrain.
