Wherever You Are, Be There!
I wrapped up work early the other afternoon so I could go relax and watch my daughter's first softball game of the season.
My wife (who is also a Realtor) kept disappearing on me while I sat and chatted with one of our neighbors until decided it was time for a good ole ballpark frank!
On the way to the concession stand I noticed a line of several people standing a little ways
down past the dugout, all talking on cell phones. Including my wife! Upon closer inspection, I noticed that most of these people were Realtors I knew.
I chuckled and thought to myself, are you kidding me? I just shook my head.
As I grabbed my dog and headed back to the bleachers, I thought about an old Howard Brinton quote, "Wherever you are, be there! If you are at the work, forget about home and be at work. If you are at home, forget about your work and be at home, with your family."
Great advice Howard! I've never forgotten that. Great hot dog too by the way! Aren't they always better at the ballpark?
