When I first got into real estate it was tough to find business. I tried using the lead program that my broker had, but it frustrated me because the leads were tough and when they did close, the broker took a big piece of the pie. Over time, I have been able to develop a nice internet presence and been able to rely a little more on referrals. When I would struggle, I would always think about the movie Glengarry Glen Ross and the scene where Alec Baldwin conducted a sales meeting. I try to run my business with the simple motto of ABC - Always Be Closing!
ABC...I like it! ABC, as easy as 123, do ray me, ...that's how easy love closing can be. Oh yea.......
Brian, referrals are the BEST!! When your clients are happy, word gets around, resulting in an ABC business!!
Ok I understand ABC always to be closing. Love that movie however I do see our jobs a bit different.
Thanks so much for your participation and entry to
“Be The ‘Star’ Of Your Own Movie”
Another member introduced me to this movie about a year ago. This scene is classic!
Great comments, thanks! Tim Lorenz, how do you see your job being a bit different? I hope you didn't mistake my post for being that I am only about money and closing deals. My attitude is nothing like that, I always put client's interest first and if I do that, everything else works out for me to ABC!!!
I agree Marianne, my tactics don't resemble this movie at all either, I just really enjoyed that scene!
