Beatles Song Made home on “Blue Jay Way” Famous.....See the History

sell your home in redlandsGo to  Zillow and read all about this house on Blue Jay Way made famous by George Harrison of the Beatles. Apparently in 1967, George had rented out the house for a weekend and was waiting for others to arrive when he wrote this song. He later published the song “There’s a fog upon LA” in the Beatles album Magical Mystery Tour.  It is an interesting song sung solely by George Harrison.

This event made the house famous on 1567 Blue Jay Way, Los Angeles, CA.

The home is back on the market for a whopping $4,599,000.00 which reflects a recent renovation and of course it’s role in the musical history. The home has a prime location near the Sunset Strip, Century City, and Beverly Hills.

Hi Joni,

Wouldn't that be nice; like a famous musician who wants to pay cash. I would be glad to sell it but i really thought the history was fascinating and I cannot get the song out of my head now.

I was stopping by to basically say the same thing as Joni. Your interest in its history makes you the most logical and natural choice to represent the buyer. Be well.

Hi Sharon,

I didn't remember it either. I am surprised about the song as it is sort of catchy once you hear it. The first time I thought weird, strange, LSD influence, but after playing it several times, I liked it. Guess that is because I grew up with the Beatles when they came here from England. I will always be a follower of the Beatles. Paul was my favorite.

Hi Cal,

I am pretty much a sellers agent and have only lost one listing as it was just too overpriced and the seller wouldn't budge. Then when we let it expire, he sold it with another company for $375,000 3 months later. I had an offer for $410,000 2 days before it expired. He was a jerk. Oh well! Cannot win them all. But I really like buyers too and love to hear the great history of real estate in our area. It is harder to find out now as so many celebs put their property in corporate names or their attorney's names so they can keep their privacy. I certainly don't blame them.

Happy Earth day Weekend.

Hi Tony and Darcy,

I love to hear all this trivia and I am now a fan of the song. I found myself singing it all yesterday afternoon.

Happy Earth day Weekend.
