Don't get me wrong...when we put your San Antonio TX home up for Sale, marketing is a large part of getting those qualified buyers through your door to come and see your home.  Marketing is also a very big part of why you hire me toSold Home list and sell your San Antonio TX home; however, there is more to your San Antonio TX Realtor®then marketing.

Before, During and After the Sale of Your San Antonio TX Home

When you hire a San Antonio TX Real Estate Professional to assist you with the sale of your home, you should be hiring them for the before, during and after phases of listing your home.  Before, means pricing , preparing and setting goals...during...the marketing and after, negotiations, consultation, and getting your home sold!

Much of What I Do Remains Unseen

When I come to your home to present to you my listing presentation, the biggest part of my presentation is going to be about how I am going to market your home because it is the easiest thing to show you that gives you a visual of how I am earning my pay.  Things like Internet sites, brochures, open houses are all things that you can visualize to see the benefit of hiring me as your San Antonio TX area Realtor®.  However, once all that great marketing that I do, produces a buyer, my work is just beginning.  Negotiating in your best interest and ensuring your goals that we set together when we first discussed getting your home sold are being met, is one of the best things I can do for you.  And, following that up is ensuring that your transaction gets to the closing table (your San Antonio TX home actually Sells!). There are so many things that can derail a transaction and it's your agent's job (my job), to ensure everything stays on track and that you don't experience a loss.

Marketing is the Fun Part

Marketing's the fun part of selling a San Antonio TX home and I love doing it.  It brings me joy when I bring my sellers tons of showings because of the aggressive marketing plan I have to list your San Antonio TX home.  But, it's definitely not all you hire me for.  Much of what you hire me for goes unseen and is realized when we have that Sold sign in your yard!

Brenda, marketing is huge, but there are so many things going on all the time during a transaction - and especially once the offer comes in...so true. Managing a transaction that is fully signed often takes skill and finesse - that's really where "you come in..."

I hear what you're saying and indeed most of what we as Realtors really goes unseen and unknown to our clients.  The hours of behind the scene working at odd hours etc they have no clue what we really do to make it all happen.  It's never a bad thing to educate our clients on what we do for them!

Hi Debb-With marketing you can "see" what your agent is doing for you.  With negotiations, communication with all parties and making sure all areas are covered for the seller, much of that is unseen by the ciient, marketing brings in the buyer, the rest keeps em :)!

Brenda, The fact that so much of what we do as listing agents is invisible is exactly why we go into such depth at the listing presentation.  Then we have to keep the communication going after the listing so they don't operate under the false impression that we just planted a sign and went POOF!

This is so true. Many times our effort representing seller or buyer is unseen. This is what separate a good agent to a mediocre agent.

Brenda-Good points, as I think sometimes we under report to our Sellers the involvement and effort needed to keep a transaction moving forward to Closing. During and After Sales activities can be just as critical as marketing a property.
