- All my slacks and skirts have tell-tale slime at dog height. I try to clean it off, but inevitably, Emmy gets me as I leave
- The same goes for dog fur. We now have two black dogs. If you think I wear a lot of black, you would be right...it makes it easier to be presentable.
- I am very punctual by nature, but if I have been working at home and have to leave for a meeting, I am likely to be a couple of minutes late. Why? I can't always get the dogs inside!
- When we meet for our first listing appointment, I completely get that you are more stressed about what to do with your dog(s) during a showing than what the asking price for your home will be.
- I will greet your dogs with as much enthusiasm as I great you.
- Dog owners 'get it,' and I will help you figure out the best way to handle all your dog stuff while the house is on the market--and I won't judge!
My hounds * Cici and Pico * are such fun - they are my posse and I firmly believe that having 2 is better than just having one.....
Good Morning Holly- so many people own dogs. When selling a home with a dog(s) this can be a huge stresser for the homeowner as well as the prospective buyer as well as the agent, the appraiser and all who enter. Hiring a real estate who understands how to handle dogs, who will test them to see how they do, who understands what the dogs comfort means to the owner is huge. I too am a pet friendly REALTOR®.
Holly-though I'm not a dog owner, cats rule my life but I get it. I'm sensative to dealing with pets whether it's as a listing agent or when I"m touring a home where pets are present.
Oh, Holly, you are definately a dog friendly Realtor. You hit all the points. We can never get out of the house without slime and dog hair. And trying to get all 13 of them settled in a timely fashion just never happens. Clients with pet worries are just about the only ones we agree to say "Listing agent must accompany"
