While business is still in high gear, I find my thoughts drifting, wishing for a little time on the lake to reflect, relax and rejuventate the attitude. Of course, while my husband and I both love to think the world cannot do without us for long, we also know how important a quick weekend getaway is to our mindset.
All I have to do is ask someone in the brokerage to help take over while I am gone because there is no internet, television or phone service where we vacation. Just plenty of water, an abundance of fish and a warm place to rest at night. If a client needs immediate help, I do not worry one bit, our brokerage has become like a family-run business where we all look out for the other. We are more successful that way!

Fishing to me is very much like gaining positive relationships with clients, you must maintain patience in order to achieve positive results and know precisely when they are ready to make a commitment. You may lose a few along the way but stay the course and you will be successful!
See! This is what sitting on a boat in the middle of the lake for several days does for me when I...reflect...relax and rejuvenate! Ahhhh! Just what I needed!
