Big Canoe Mountain Update

Real Estate Agent with

The Big Canoe community is located in the North Georgia Mountains.  Why should you consider the North Georgia Mountains in the summer ? Consider the weather. Most folks like to run to the beaches in the heat. Today I was in a Northern Atlanta suburb. When I got into my car the outside temperature registered 92 degrees. I drove back to my mountain home. As I pulled into the driveway the temperature registered 81 or 11 degrees cooler !!!!

This drop in temperature is due to elevation and the great green trees in our mountains. I am 2500 feet up. You can reach 3400 in Big Canoe and in the surrounding areas get up to 3500 before you have to go a bit further North. Bottom line is the cool mountain breezes and the fresh tree scrubbed air make mountain living a dream.

Want to beat the heat and not get sand all over your body ? Consider the North Georgia Mountains. And if you do and fall in love with our mountains let the folks at All Mountain Realty help you find your dream mountain getaway.

Falls in the Mountains

If the water cascading down the mountains doesn't do it them maybe the cool mountain breezes will. You can see the chairs in the bottom left of this photo

You're lucky your home was cooler than the rest of the area. We could've used some of that cool air over the past few days.  Just glad the heat wave is over...

You're so lucky to have that place, and not have to submit yourself to the crowds at the beach. Here I sit, at 5,200 feet and 100+ temps already this season. Wishing I had a mountain house too!
