Celebrating the fourth of July in Lititz, PA is a great day. Lititz Spings Park opens at 12 - noon on July 4 with an admission fee. The fourth of July has been continuously celebrated since 1818.
Activities included in the celebration are:
- A Parade on July 3 sponsored by the Lititz Lions Club.
- “Flamin Dick and the Hot Rods” will provide entertainment following
the parade. - A baby parade
- Fireworks
- Queen of Candles Pageant
A highlight besides the fabulous fireworks is the Queen of Candles Pageant. This event began in 1942 and involves 12 girls from Warwick High School Senior Class. These girls are chosen by their classmates. Thousands of candles are lit and placed in the Lititz Springs waterway.
