This is your little Ma and Pa shop. Moses and Nancy Carlson started this little shop in 2008. Both Moses and Nancy are Bikers and know what riders like! I visit EVERY Motorcycle Shop in my path when cruisin' the country, and I have to say this shop is my hands down FAVORITE! Over the years they've stocked the shop with just about everything you could want or need. They've chosen high quality items, and price them AFFORDABLE. When I first visited and looked at some of the price tags MY JAW DROPPED in shock! I was sure the leather I was looking at was mis-marked. Too High you ask??? NOPE! Really, really LOW! So low I didn't believe my eyes! All I could say is: "Is this price right? " I was sure they left off a digit! I've seen the EXACT same gear in other shops for twice the price or more!
Moses and Nancy put their hearts in Moses Leather Company, and they believe the best way to grow their business is to offer quality items at fair, reasonable and very affordable prices! They also believe in customer service! They stand behind their products 100%. If you want something they don't happen to have, chances are they can get it. Nancy's quick to pull out her catalogs and start hunting the item down, LOL!
A lot of motorcycle riders seem to have a hard time finding things that fit when it comes to very SMALL or LARGER sizes. Most bike shops have to ORDER in these sizes. Not the case at Moses Leather Company in Grand Junction! They carry almost everything in sizes from XXS to 6X!!! In stock! In the store! YAY! I'm a "want-it-now" kind of gal! LOL! And ladies...Nancy won't let you leave with the wrong fit! If you pick chaps or a vest that aren't the most flattering for your figure, she will suggest a better choice that is. She's got your back-side! She'll make sure you love your look! She is so good at shopping!!! Makes you feel like your shopping with your best friend! I stop by all the time just to hang out, and marvel at how nobody leaves as a stranger. If you just happen to be passing through...You're gonna miss Moses and Nancy when you leave. I did! Sooooo...I stop by as often as I can! Really, really good people!
Wanna talk shop? So does Moses! I was wanting to change the exhaust on my bike and Moses told me he had JUST changed his! I told him what I was looking for, and he can get me what I want. (At a much better price than the other quotes I had.) He said putting the pipes on myself was very do-able, if I was so inclined. That will save me a bunch! :) I always look forward to shooting the breeze at Moses Leather Company!
I feel so fortunate to have won a raffle that was a Gift Certificate from Moses Leather Company. That's how I found this business. I had gone on a ride for charity and they DONATED several Gift Certificates to the charity so they could raffle them to support the charity. Since then, I've been on NUMEROUS rides for charity, and guess what!? There's ALWAYS something from Moses Leather Company as a donation to the charity. Moses and Nancy are so giving and so loving! This next Saturday, July 7th, they are SPONSORING a ride for Saint Mary's Regional Cancer Center's Cancer Survivorship Program. The "Tracy Bain Ride for Life." I'll hopefully get back to Grand Junction in time to join Moses and Nancy on this ride. (I'm gonna be out of town all week) so fingers crossed I get back in time! :)
