Thankful Thursdays ~ Thankful For People Who Adjust

By
Real Estate Agent with Keller Williams Realty 0575737

Stop InsanityAlbert Einstein hit one of his pure genius moments cautioning not to do the same thing over and over again expecting different results, cause that is plain insanity. Sometimes it takes time in real estate and in dealing with people in our personal lives to GET IT RIGHT.

Anyway, lately for those who I have worked with or had personal touches where we BOTH adjusted to get results, to get harmony,

I am very thankful for THOSE WHO ADJUST.

We all can relate to the PURE STUBBORN MULES out there. The my way or the highway types. Sometimes even pointing it out to them that it's not working, STILL does not get them be flexible to try something else.

As my graphic illustrates and you might want to print out and place on the wall, when we work TOGETHER and adjust, learning about the other side, you know, LIFE IS VERY VERY SWEET.

Love the graphic you have to go with this message.  Adjusting involves getting past our own stubbornness.  I had one of these moments earlier this week.  Was such a relief to take a deep breath and just adjust.

Short sales are often like this. Another solution is to free the second mule, kick him to the curb and eat all of the hay yourself. Not quite what you're going for, eh?

This is similiar to the "Surley Dog in the Manger" story.  Dog walks into the barn when the cow is out grazing.  Dog goes to sleep in the manger.  Cow comes back in and wants to eat the hay, but the dog says "Hey if you eat the hay I won't have a bed anymore" and he doesn't budge.  So they both starve.  At least your graphics show it like it is:  two stubborn jack asses.  Glad they figured it all out! The jack asses are a heck of a lot smarter then most people I know.
