Katy Branch Library holds Microsoft Word Class
I firmly believe good computer skills are a life lesson/ life skill and necessity for people of all ages. If you lack these basic skill sets you are having a hard time living in the world today let alone into the future. The Katy Library is holding basic skills class and the cost is free for residents of Harris County Texas.
The Katy Branch Library as part of the Harris County Library System is holding a Microsoft Word basic class on Tuesday January 8, 2013. The class starts at 10:15 AM and runs until 11:45 AM and is being held in the Library’s computer lab. A second class will start at 4 PM and last until 5:30 PM. The Katy Library is located at 5414 Franz Road Katy Texas in what some folks call Historic Katy.
This class hopefully will teach participants document creation, file opening, file saving, cutting and pasting data plus many other features. I have used word for many years now and sometimes finding where in the software’s complicated myriad of drop down menu’s to find a command you need to utilize is very difficult and frustrating.
I know from past posts I have made about these computer skills classes, space is very limited and it is best to call the Library to reserve a spot. The Library phone number is 281-391-3509 and use this link to go to their web site http://www.hcpl.net/location/katy-branch-library.
