101+ real estate agent deductions... can you believe tax time is just around the corner once again? Thinking about taxes is enough to make me feel as if my head is about to explode. Today, in my email I received what at first glance we might think of as junk mail, but the title "101+ Real Estate Deductions" intrigued me and made me take a second look. The pdf I downloaded was probably one of the best compilations of deductions, we as real estate agents can put into play when doing our taxes. So I thought to myself, why not share these 101+ real estate agent deductions from Podris Tax Services with all my "buds" at Active Rain? There's obviously some advertising at the bottom of the page, but the information is so useful, who cares?
Oh and by the way, did you get the very clever 101+ deductions as opposed to an even 100? I've used this "odd number" marketing myself and it works... people somehow take that second look when it's not an obvious number like 25, 50, etc. Another great article "Top 10 Tax Deductions For Real Estate Professionals" provides excellent information, but certainly is not as eye catching as 101+ is or maybe even "Top 13, etc." What do you think?
In any case, hope you find this little "cheat sheet" helpful as we enter tax season. And even if you don't do your own taxes, pass it on to your tax preparer (I'll sure be sending it to mine).
