Where do you get your BPO Requests?

Real Estate Agent with Coldwell Banker Sea Coast Advantage~ Ginger Harper Real Estate Team 93383

I would like for someone to share with me, how to hook up with the lenders that will work with me on

foreclosures and short sales.

Seems like some agents get all of that business and I want to learn how to break into that market.

I will be taking the short sale course soon and want to be successful in the depressed market along

the North Carolina coast...

Thanks for any help.

REO's are a lot of work and expense. Think it is better to prospect listings.

Ginger  I have been approached via phone by Asset Management Companies to do BPO work.  One problem is some (many) don't pay you.  I have a local bank and one AMC that I do a lot of work for...contact your local banks and introduce yourself!  Show them your past work.  I am known as the go-to guy for Market Analysis and BPO's in my neck of the woods.  Good luck

I have had a lot of success with Clear Capital. I actually received a check from them today for four property inspections I completed last month. I have worked on BPOs, drive-by BPOs, and property inspections (which are usually just a few pictures and market data pulled from the MLS). When I signed up with Clear Capital I adjusted my settings to send me a text when an order was available. It helps me accept the work before all the other area agents jump on them! I have not gotten an REO listing via this route yet, but the company says that my reports have all my contact information on them when they are given to the client requesting the BPO. I know that every time I submit one another asset manager is seeing my name in this market. At least they know I'm here!
