So if you read my last post and pursued those properties you’re now familiar with the Brunswick Islands. Perhaps you checked out Sunset Beach and Holden Beach while you were there, too. Those are the other two beaches that make up the Brunswick Islands off the coast of North Carolina.
There is Holden Beach oceanfront property that you may have noticed while you were there. If no, you can always go back and take a look. Or you can go to the Carolina Plantations website and look up any Holden Beach oceanfront property you have an interest in and get a wealth of information right there. Here’s a few upcoming events taking place in the area that you might want to check out:
A Holden Beach Concert will be held on Sunday, August 18. The Tim Clark Band will perform beach/variety music. Concerts are held at the Pavilion at the end of Jordan Boulevard on Holden Beach. Concerts start at 6:30 p.m. and are free. Weather permitting.
The Labor Day Sand Sculpture Contest in Ocean Isle Beach, NC, is from 10:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. on August 31. Children's division - up to 13, Family division - 4 adults and no limit on children. Rules available at the Museum of Coastal Carolina starting August 1. Trophies and prizes awarded in all divisions. The event takes place on the beach behind the Community Center on 44 East 1st Street in Ocean Isle Beach.
