SELLERS BEWARE..... LISTEN TO THE MARKET... IT TALKS LOUD

ALRIGHT, WE HAVE ALL HAD THOSE SELLERS WHO HAVE A PRICE IN THEIR HEAD OF WHAT THEY THINK THEIR HOME IS WORTH.  I KNOW, I HAVE BEEN ONE OF THOSE SELLERS IN THE PAST.  I THOUGHT THAT MY HOUSE WAS THE BEST HOUSE AROUND AND EVERYONE WOULD BE BEATING DOWN THE DOORS TO GET IN AND BUY IT. 

NOT SO.... I HAD TO WORK HARD AND MAKE SURE I HAD A GOOD PRICE AND PRODUCT.  I AM CONSTANTLY AMAZED AT THE SELLER WHO REFUSES TO LISTEN TO THE MARKET.  THEIR HOME SITS, UNSHOWN FOR WEEKS, SOMETIMES MONTHS.  AND ALL ALONG, THEY QUESTION.... WHY? 

WHY?  BECAUSE YOU ARE PRICED TO HIGH FOR THE PRODUCT YOU HAVE TO SELL.  I WOULD FAR RATHER SELL AND HAVE A GOOD PROFIT THAN STAY ON THE MARKET FOR MONTH AFTER MONTH, REDUCING EACH TIME ONLY TO FIND OUT THE THE GOOD BUYERS LOOKED FIRST, WE WERE TOO HIGH AND NOW EVERYONE HAS SEEN THE OVERPRICED HOUSE SO THERE IS NO ONE LEFT TOO LOOK. 

NOW YOU SELL YOUR HOUSE FOR LESS THAN YOU WOULD HAVE IF YOU HAD JUST LISTED IT REASONABLY IN THE FIRST PLACE.  THE MARKET DOES NOT LIE... IT GUIDES YOU AND IF YOU LISTEN YOU WILL BE SUCCESSFUL AND SO WILL YOUR CLIENT.
