Red Ledges is a four season mountain community located in the Heber Valley about 20 minutes outside Park City. It encompasses nearly 2,000 acres of rugged mountain slopes and will eventually include 1,200 homes upon full build out of the master plan.
Red Ledges is home to an 18 hole Jack Nicklaus Signature golf course and the Jim McLean Golf School, but membership will be limited to just 400 golf members with the remainder being lifestyle members of the club.
Lifestyle memberships also have much to offer as Red Ledges is home to the Cliff Drysdale Tennis Academy with both indoor and outdoor courts and some clay courts as well.
Other activities at Red Ledges include snowmobiling, snowshoeing and cross country skiing in the winter as well as swimming, hiking, ski boat rentals and guided fly fishing trips in the summer.
The clubhouse and spa areas as well as the fitness center, year round heated pools and dining options will provide a gathering place for members all four seasons of the year.
The vegetation and topography here is considerably different than anywhere else in the Park City area and you will quickly notice that if you have been a long time reader of my blog and have seen the pictures I have posted in the past.
The views of Mt. Timpanogas to the west are some of the most beautiful in the entire area, and the colors in the surrounding mountains during September are something to behold.
The Heber Valley also has a milder climate than the rest of Park City with a shorter winter than much of the surrounding area.
Red Ledges has both developer cottage style homes and larger custom homes so you should be able to find the perfect home or second home for your family's needs.
There are currently 13 homes available in Red Ledges. They range in size from a 3 bedroom/3 bath 2,913 sq. foot home offered at $580,000 to a 6 bedroom/6 bath 7,539 sq. foot home priced at $2.495 million.
There are currently 26 lots for sale in Red Ledges ranging from $175,000 to $550,000 if you would rather build the custom home of your dreams here.
Red Ledges is in the Wasatch School System and just a short drive into town on Center St. where you will find a full service grocery store and also a brand new Super Walmart, both just over 5 minutes away.
There are some great dining options in Heber as well that just don't see the same kind of traffic as similar restaurants in Park City. For finer dining the Snake Creek Grill is a favorite of mine and for comfort food try the Claimjumper Restaurant, you will not be disappointed in either one.
