VA Loans in Provo Utah

Provo, Utah VA Loans Financing a home with VA Loans in Provo, Utah is a great option for veterans, service members and even surviving spouses.

Provo, Utah VA Loans are amazing, and here's why:

- Down Payments are not required!

- Credit Standards are much more relaxed than many other loan options.

- Because of competition, interest rates may be low.

But how do you know if you qualify? Here's how you qualify:

- Your credit score has to be decent.

- To meet certain service requirements (such as length of service/duty status).

- Sufficient Income.

- A Certificate of Eligibility or COE must be filled out and approved.

Once the COE is completed, you give it to your lender, who looks over the COE and finds that you've been backed for a VA Loan. Where do you get a COE form? We can help you, or you can get a copy through Veterans Affairs. Do you want to know more about COEs or any aspect of VA Loans? Go to The US Department of Veteran Affairs.

A free online application can be found through our website that will get your home financing started.

However, the best way to really understand how to get a VA Loan is by talking with a local lender who has experience on all the little unique details involved when financing with VA Loans (and believe me, there are a lot of details).

Who's your local lender? Spencer Stott and his team are Provo, Utah's guide to financing your home. They know their stuff and are more than happy to help you finance your home. Want a free consultation? Call us at: 801-960-2111.

Hi Spencer.  It sounds like VA loans in your area are a great option to consider for buyers who may qualify.  We don't see many VA or FHA loans up here in Park City, but I did just close a home for some buyers with a FHA loan not long ago.

VA and FHA Loans are a great option, albeit an underused option at times. And congratulations on your closing up in Park City. It's always nice to hear from fellow Real Estate Utahns.

I think VA loans are a great option. My pet peeve is that they unlike FHA still require that the veteran not pay any buyer agent fee.  This was dropped by FHA and any other lender years ago.  This rule robs the VA buyer from being able to have a buyer agent to look out for their best interests.  I have had several VA buyers try to get this point across, but it has fallen on deaf years.

VA loans have always been a great option when the government wants us to have them. They are solely needed for our vets and it is good that there is a reurgence of VA loans.

Spencer, unfortunately we just don't see that many VA loans. I really wished that we did as in my opinion, the influx of military veterans strengthens a community.

I used to specialize in VA Guaranteed Home Loans, and advertised "The VA No-No" program.  No down payment, and no fees (if the Seller pays them).

David, thanks for the comment!

Joan, I see your point. It would be beneficial to have a buyer agent helping out!

Laura, I completely agree. We need to look out for our veterans as they looked out for us.

Jimmy, Yes, they're a fantastic option for our vets and it's good to see them gaining a little more popularity.

Gita, You're welcome and Thank you!

Norman, VA Loans are definitely overlooked at times. They have been gaining a little bit of ground, but you're right, if they were used a bit more then communities would prosper.

Raymond, I like that program name: "VA No-No". And if a seller pays, then no down and no fees is such a great gift to our veterans.

Nathan, 10 a month! That's awesome. And it'd be great if we could just 'take a page from VA'! They really are the best.
