The Rockville Centre John A. Anderson Recreation Center is collecting school supplies and toiletries for needy children.
Donations must be in their original packaging and may be made Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Recreation Center located at 111 North Oceanside Road.
Contributions can be made up until November 11th. 2013. For more information please call 516-678-9339.
There is little more fulfilling than making somebody's day better, when life has them in a difficult place.
Hoping there are lots of donations and wonderful, generous people to help those less fortunate.
Terrific post Liz, help get the word out for this worthy cause. Toys are nice but some needs are More basic.
I think they do this drive a little earlier so they don't get lost in the toy drives.
