Yes this is about my beloved Seahawks... and our greatness... but it's also about real estate success... you'll see.
Driving to home from work yesterday listening to my Seattle sports talk radio show, the announcer was interviewing an ex-pro bowler and asking him to take us into the minds of the players as they prepare for the greatest sports competition in the world, the Super Bowl...
The announcer asked: "How do the players comprehend what's in front of them, handle their nerves, the pressure, the game?" The pro-bowler said simply: "They are built for this moment."
This gave me chills.
As an ex-collegiate athlete, I remember the countless hours in the gym, the weight room, studying film of opponents, making tweaks to my own technique, attending camps, getting yelled at by coaches, and game after game after game of life lessons that can only come from times when your team lost because you missed a serve, or you feel the glory for slamming the match winning point... every moment was preparation for what was to come.
And so it is for my Hawks-- but even to the next degree. These men have been honing their craft, their bodies, their techniques, their minds to be put to the ultimate test. It is all for this moment. So on game day every step they take, pass they catch, play they run is second to breathing. This is their passion, their profession, their being. They are built for this moment.
Which leads me to ask a simple question of myself and my real estate agent colleagues... Are we built for our moment? Have we put in the time, the dedication, the WORK, to hone our craft so when we get a prospect on the phone, we know we can convert them. So that when we get a million dollar listing appointment, we know without a doubt we we are walking away with a contract. Have you done everything you could do, up until now, so that if that phone rings now... you can say, without a doubt, "Bring it! I'm built for this!"
Only you can answer that.
Go Hawks!!!!
