No. I am not talking about my loan to value ratio. I am talking about my new found love for my laptop and active rain -instead of TV. (not that I ever "loved" TV)
I told my husband the other day, "my laptop is my new TV." (for short, my laptop TV or "LTV" ) He enjoys his flat-screen TV. I have never really been a fan of TV. Let me clarify what I mean. Maybe you can identify with me. When my husband watches television with that remote control thing attached to his hand as he surfs the channels constantly, he doesn't usually hear anything I say, and he really would rather I not attempt too many conversations with him. He will "yes" me to death and doesn't really hear me.
Well, now that I have found active rain, and the oodles of wonderful information and some great people to hang out with, I spend some time playing and working in the rain. And even sharing my sadness. And I must add here, there are some really sincere and genuine people in the rain, and I am so thankfulfor those people...and they know who they are because we speak to each other through our comments and through our posts.
As I was on the Internet with my laptop the other day and he kept talking with me, I later found myself telling him "you know how when you watch TV and you would rather me not interrupt your show, well just pretend this is my TV and I don't really want to be interrupted either." He didn't really know what to say, I just had to laugh!!!
Is there anyone else out there that can relate? Is your computer or laptop more important to you than your TV? It is to me. It is so much more relaxing and useful to me than watching ridiculous shows on the darned old TV! Is anyone out there with me on this?
