This is a recap for the Villa Catalina condos that reflects those for sale along with an update of recent sales in the complex. All statistical information is from our local multiple listing service (mls) as of June 28, 2014.
Villa Catalina is located at 480 North Catalina Avenue just north of the Foothill(210) Freeway and convenient to the Gold Line light rail station at Lake Avenue. The modern style complex was built in 2007 and consists of 15 two story designs in a variety of floor plans. The gated complex is built around a landscaped courtyard which features a common barbecue area. Each has two bedrooms and two baths. Units have either a balcony or patio area as well as in unit laundry connections. Parking is in a subterranean garage.
There is currently one Villa Catalina condo available for sale. It is a corner unit with approximately 1050 square feet with high ceilings and abundant windows priced at $415,000. There have been no mls-reported closed transactions yet in 2014.
For full year 2013, there were three closed sales ranging in price from $326,000 to $398,000 with an average sales price of $369,667(median sales price $385,000). They sold at an average 97.48% of last list price and an average $390.35 per square foot.
In 2012, there was just one closed transaction according to mls statistics. It was a two bedroom floor plan which sold for $305,000(list price $299,000).
