If I have had one pet peeve or maybe I will say RANT with people over a good period of time of observing their lack of civility is the category of
NO RESPONSE.
The level and the extent to which people can IGNORE you is louder than the roar of a jet engine. Mind you, this is not like no response to a sales outbound cold call. I understand that. This is where people want you to help them, request information, want to get on your calendar, in other words THEY started the inquiry. A rule I have, don't chase people too far. An exception would be a fellow agent you MUST work with, persist or call their broker. I understand people are busy, so they say, but I try to make it easy BEYOND a voice mail, with a parallel EMAIL "and" TEXT. Nothing back. Zippo. Are they all independently wealthy? Grandpa died? In the Bahamas? Or my theory: just incredibly disrespectful of other people and clueless how they are. So be patient and persistent with people but at some point JUST GIVE UP ON THEM if you can't figure out the WHY of no response.
