End of the year expenses to increase your production in 2015
Many brokers and agents who did well during the year have a surplus income at this time. These last couple of days of the year some are thinking of ways to invest some of this income back into their businesses for tax purposes.
Investing in your business is important to growing your business. You can order your just listed postcards today or tomorrow for your new listings, order them before the end of the year. You can order your online marketing and pay your virtual assistants a bonus at this time of the year.
You can't make a lot of money if you never market yourself, never send out a just listed postcard or never buy a website to market your listings on.
You also won't grow your business if you don't grow yourself.
There is a saying: To be successful in business work more on yourself than you do on your business.
Investing in becoming a better agent or broker is your responsibility. No one can do that for you.
Hiring a coach may just be the best investment you make going into 2015. There are different kinds of coaches so you should find the one that is a right fit for you.
Also, choose a coach that is going to focus on the one thing you really want to work on next year. If it is SEO, online marketing, lead generation, getting more listings, increasing your income, moving from traditional homes into luxury homes, building a better website- this is the type of coaching and consulting that I do.
Most agents and brokers I work with have been in the real estate business for at least 3 years.
Newbie agents are not really going to benefit from my coaching. Because of this, I have partnered with a coach who is really gifted with helping the brand new agent to the agent of less than 3 years in the business.
