Today we have a guest blogger, Rachael Kendall, writing about some of her impressions of 2129 Pullman Avenue, Belmont. Rachael assisted me at last Sunday's open house, and has written a bit about the house and the visitors.
"2129 Pullman is a lovely house in a lovely area, there’s no doubt about it. The Carlmont district is truly one of the best the bay has to offer.
Helping host Open House was exciting for me, meeting all of the potential new residents and feeling their excitement in response to the house was truly fulfilling. The house is large with plenty of opportunities, and the downstairs is quite unique.
The attendees seemed to like the view the most, and many of them were quite surprised to learn just how large the lot was [approximately 12,500 sq.ft.]. The kids seemed to like the kitchen and the downstairs area the most, and that's probably because its a kids dream space! On Sunday we had many people coming through, the majority of whom had kids.
The lot is really something else; a lot of this size is ideal for anyone with a family or for anyone who appreciates nature. Its not always so common in the bay area- so I expect 2129 Pullman won't be waiting long to have new residents.
