Working With Sacramento Home Buyers from the Internet

By
Real Estate Agent with Elizabeth Anne Weintraub, Broker DRE #00697006

Many of our home buyers who work with the Elizabeth Weintraub Team come straight from the Internet. We work with these buyers because so many other agents in Sacramento will not. They think that buyers from the Internet, guys who cold call on viewing a home, are not really buyers. They aren't any different than the same buyers who used to call from a newspaper ad, before that marketing venue dried up.

Not every buyer can be a referral, handed down from a trusted client to us on a silver platter. You can read more in my personal blog today at this link: Sacramento Home Buyers Who Demand Same Day Showings.

Hi Elizabeth...You are so right. Considering that so many buyers start their search on the internet it is reaonable to think many will come to us via that venue. Internet buyers are buyers. That is what counts.

I think homebuyers are increasingly using internet searches to hunt for homes, and for agent representation.  What you are doing makes sense to me!

Kate Elim They get a bad rap among agents as losers and not serious, and I have no idea where they get that idea. Just because it's easy to click a button to contact an agent or call, does not mean they don't want to buy a home.

Myrl Jeffcoat Yeah, absolutely, if buyers are looking online to find a home, you can bet most of them are checking out agents to work with as well, and they are selective!

The days of enie, meanie, meeny, moe are over!

Lately for some of these types of buyers, I offer to show them the home for a $150 convenience fee.  No one has taken the offer to date.

Elizabeth, I love my Internet leads, but true, some do not end up actually buying.    Always need to follow up, as you never know.

That's one of my pet peeves.  Buyers who have no pre-approval, have an agent too busy to help them and demand help NOW.
