Tuesday Travelogue-September 22nd
Welcome to the ongoing weekly series called Tuesday Travelogue. We are in our sixty-second week! Each week, some ActiveRain bloggers are spotlighted to take us somewhere we may not have been on some kind of virtual travel (and it doesn't cost a dime!). Here is the purpose:
to enjoy the ride"
"take a trip without even leaving the farm"
"expand your horizons"
"see through someone else's eyes"
and hopefully much more!
In our travels across America alphabetically, we have made it all of the way through Texas, a couple of weeks ago (I took a brief break doing my OWN traveling) and now we get to visit the US Virgin Islands and with my 37 degree temperatures this morning, and thick mist on Fishhawk Lake's surface, I could use a dip in warm waters and have the sun take off the morning chill.
This inviting photo is from the vantage point of Blackbeard's Castle and William True paints such a divinely royal time at this castle that I was ready to pack my bags and GO--NOW!!!!
Speaking of cold, Tanya Van Blake-Coleman teases us with a comparison of how the blizzard of 2015 effected the US Virgin Islands...talk about a great marketing technique!
It's not just the OUTSIDE that is spectacularly stunning here. Tanya takes us INSIDE to enjoy some wonderful local talent of young people in the US Virgin Islands. I loved the energy of this video and it's not too long! Enjoy Pistarkle Theatre.
How about we end with a Caribbean Cruise? Sandy Shores (I thought she made this name up, had to check and see if that was her or where she represents in Florida--hah!!) shows us a good time cruising the islands!
Please don't forget to comment on these blogposts and I hope that you enjoyed all of these virtual travels. Feel free to join our group:
