About the Conejo Oaks Area

Conejo Oaks is a hidden gem in the heart of Thousand Oaks. One of the original communities this area boasts large lots, some of which are even horse zoned! Many of the home owners are either original owners or bought their home from their parents. Conejo Oaks has no sidewalks, no street lamps and it is not uncommon to see people riding their horses or walking their goats! All while being smack-dab in the middle of the city!

This is the area I proudly reside in. One of my favorite features about this area is not just the ease of access to two parks where ALL the biggest city events happen, the close proximity of hiking trails and the ability for your kids to walk to school, but also the Conejo Family Country Club. This is a great members-only facility with a swimming pool, club house, showers, a park, playgrounds, BBQs, tennis courts and even a basketball court! I enjoy being a part of this so much, that I even volunteer my time to serve on the Board of Directors for the club!

You may want to add Average Days on Market, Average List Price, Average Sold Price charts if possible.

Also, use of infographics - if you can. I use Piktochart - thanks to Anita Clark 's suggestions - and you may want to read her reports - one of the best market reports, along with that of Michael Jacobs and Anna Banana Kruchten (she uses spreadsheet with the local background and is very impressive and effective.)

Wow! Thanks Praful Thakkar, lots to learn here for sure!

I am unfortunately limited on what charts can be produced, but I'll see if there is any way to modify them. I'm looking to do these for the nine closest cities I serve, plus my neighborhood, so I want to make sure I have an efficient and easily repeatable process for this.

I'm tracking the weekly numbers now in a spreadsheet so I'll be able to give over time stats. This was my first one done and on my Thousand Oaks one, I did add in the median DOM and changed the average numbers to medians.

I'm glad I didn't start off knowing about Anita's reports! Wow those blew me away! I'd have been far too intimidated.

I'm definitely going to have to add in some photos. Michael's looked much better with photos. Just need to take some good ones.

Oh forgot to mention - use 'Call-to-Action' - a link to your website within the report that will bring the traffic to your site. Could be a stealth page 'What's Your Home Worth' - you can easily create (or call me if you need any help with that.)
