Hernando County Florida Home Sales July to September 2015
Home sales in Hernando County, Florida, slowed over the summer months. Third quarters sales were 12% below those of second quarter of Hernando County home sales which represented a very strong quarter.
Inventory of homes for sale in Hernando County decreased again. There are now by 1036 active listings in the Hernando County Multiple Listing offered for sale in Hernando County. Additionally, there are about 200 homes listed that are located in neighboring counties.
Sales price range increased during the months of July through September, median sales price remained the same while average sales price also remained stable, showing just a very slight decrease of less than 0.5%.
There are currently 575 homes under contract in Hernando County, Florida and with the beginning of Fall, buyer activity is expected to increase.
