Situated on the western edge of Georgetown, near Leander, you'll find the new, meticulously planned community of Rancho Sienna.  Great care has gone into the design and architecture and the end results are spectacular.  The community offers up homes from nine different, esteemed builders from the Austin area (listed below) and the prices range from the low 200s to the 500s so there's something for a wide range of buyers.

As mentioned, great thought has gone into the design and development of this neighborhood with an emphasis on preserving and celebrating the natural beauty of the hill country.  Rancho Sienna boasts more than 100 acres of parks, trails and open space.  Currently, there are two parks (Greenleaf Park, Sienna Trail Park, ) and more parks and trails are scheduled to be added as the neighborhood matures and fills out.  Additionally, there are more than 5.75 miles of natural hiking trails and 4.5 miles of improved trails that will connect the neighborhoods.  Those 100+ acres will highlight the natural, rugged beauty of the area that include rock outcroppings, rolling hills and large, mature trees.  The natural beauty of the area has inspired the architecture, which has been designed to complement the elements.  "You'll find craftsman-style bungalows, spanish and tudor styled homes that incorporate local limestone and earth tone stucco, wraparound porches, awnings and deep roof overhangs that add character while providing solar efficiency. Rancho Sienna is located 29 miles from Austin so if you're looking for a luxury home in a peaceful, serene setting, then Rancho Sienna is worth a look.  However, as much as we love the Hill Country, we also know that people love what the local communities have to offer, including Austin.  Let's face it, the Austin area is hot because there are so many incredible entertainment and recreational options.  So, it's nice to be close to major freeways that can get us there quickly.  You'll have easy access to Ronald Reagan Blvd, Hwy 29 and 183 toll road.  Cimarron Hills Country Club and Golf Course are minutes away and you'll also be close to Lake Georgetown, an underrated beauty of a lake that covers 1,300 acres.  You'll also be close to Southwest Williamson County Regional Park, which is a humongous park that covers 800 acres and has just about everything you could imagine, including a first class splash pad for the kids that we use often.

The kids will attend Liberty Hill ISD, which is a well regarded school district in the area.  In fact, "LHISD was one of only two districts in the Austin area that met federal progress standards both overall and at every campus."1  Interestingly, "Rancho Sienna's vision includes a future on-site elementary school and proposed day care center. We live in a beautiful part of the world, yet it's not always evident in some of our neighborhoods.  Rancho Sienna embraces the Hill Country beauty and has created a neighborhood that accentuates the terrain.  It's affordable luxury tucked away in a scenic setting.  If you'd like to learn more or see some of the homes, please contact me at blessing@kw.com or 512-789-5087.
