On Monday I took my buddy Diesel, the Boston Terrier to the veterinarian. He was diagnosed with diabetes and placed on insulin.
Over the past five days I have been giving him his injections and implementing some dietary changes ( a nice way of saying a new food, feeding schedule and no snacks).
But I still had some questions.
So, like most folks, I turned to the Internet because we all know the answers to every question and issue can be found on the Internet!
After researching my questions about types of food, how soon to give the insulin after eating, snacks (if any), and a whole host of other questions it dawned on me!
Why am I trusting some unknown resource on the Internet? I have a vet at my disposal (another appointment today). She is trained, capable and is a proven professional I can trust.
That is a message for buyers and sellers as well.
While most buyers start their search for a home on the Internet most actually rely on a real estate agent when it gets serious.
Sellers really do like to check out the mega-websites to find the z-"value" of their home. Some may even try the for sale by owner route as well based on this and the other "how to sell you home without a real estate agent" advice on the Internet.
But, ultimately, most buyers and sellers know the route to take.... Work with a local, knowledgeable, capable real estate agent.
Want to use something on the Internet? Google "real estate agent Suntree, Florida" (or wherever you are) and start your search there.
