Five Factors affecting my business and I am grateful for them...

This post was inspired by an Active Rain Contest about being Grateful for five things that affect our business.

I consider myself very lucky, in that I have many reasons for which to be grateful in my life and in my business. The biggest challenge I had in writing this post was to narrow down the long list to a list of five. Not a bad problem to have.

First and foremost, I am very grateful for my parents who instilled in me a moral compass. Even though at times that compass needed some calibration as I was growing up, my father was there to recalibrate it. This in turn has formed my philosophy towards my clients, my business and ultimately how I live my life.

Second, I am grateful how the journey of life got me to where I am today. I am a successful Realtor in Beverly Hills, CA. I am in a profession that I love and where there is never a dull moment. I have to solve challenges to achieve what my clients want and need. This in turn rewards me with the material things that are important to me: a good lifestyle which consists of good food, good wines, books and a happy home with our pets and their caretaker and mine, Diane.

Third, I am grateful to have the technology that exists today to augment my business: high-speed internet, DocuSign, my Laptop, my Smartphone and all other the portals that allow me to have an international outreach at my fingertips.

Fourth, I am grateful to be working at Berkshire Hathaway Beverly Hills, a well-respected name in the Real Estate Community with a Manager who is very supportive to his agents and always provides great advice and wisdom whenever needed. There is also an amazing support staff to help me out with a positive and helpful demeanor unparalleled at any of the other Brokerages for which I have ever previously worked.

Fifth I am grateful for being introduced to Active Rain, which has allowed me to find my “blogging voice” and helped generate not only clients but friends who will be friends for life.
