By
Real Estate Agent with Sedona Elite Properties Management, Inc.

The owners of Bella Terra (BySnergy), a controversial "green" residential development in Sedona have asked the bank to postpone the foreclosure in order to allow them to work on a suitable plan.  Bella Terra was planned to be sold at Auction last Friday, April 18th.  The Auction has been rescheduled for May 2nd.  According to the Notice of Trustee Sale, the original balance on the note was $13M.  According to County Records BySnergy (Bella Terra) bought the property for $4.7M in 2002.

Bysnergy has endured nany delays in its construction and fights with local environmrntalists.  The permit had allowed the subdivision to operate a wastewater treatment plant near Oak Creek

You mention that it was a controversial "green" residential development. We have a green development nearby in Walnut Creek that is in foreclosure with court-appointed representatives. Some of us look at this one as over-improved and probably why it's in receivership. They spent too much on the building to recover under current market conditions.
