Friday night my best friend and I arrived in Vegas for a week of golfing and sightseeing.
When I told people I was heading to Las Vegas for a quick get-a-way, they looked at me funny and wondered why... because they know I'm not really a glitzy, Strip, kind of woman. Ok, so I admit to liking my share of bling but Vegas goes way beyond bling.
Little do most people know the vast variety of other things to do in the area. Last year a friend and I came down here for 18 days, intending to mostly golf but there were so many other things to do we only golfed 3 times.
I'll try to share a bit with you throughout the week.

I had a wonderful soulful vacation in Vegas with absolutely no time spent in casinos. You are quite right, there are many wonderful things to do that have nothing to do with the Strip.
