Real Estate Agent with KW Elite

Active Rain if used to it's Max can provide your blog posts with hundreds of potential readers !

I have been watching recently as to how quickly can I reach 50 views . I have discovered that if  I

follow some pretty basic steps , it will take less than 1 hour to reach 50 views ! Here is just a brief

list of helpful tips :

     1. Your Blog Post's Title is huge ! Does it create interest and curiosity ?

     2. Before launching , are there any AR Groups that might add readership (max of 5 Groups) ?

     3. After launching click the appropriate Social Media Tabs- Twitter & Linked In are musts .

     4. Click on the Short URL Tab and MANUALLY post it in numerous FB Groups & Business Pgs.

     5. Share the post on FB to push it out to greater readership.

In the COMMENT Area below ,  I invite you to help fill in # 6.  to  #10.    . If used correctly, to it's

Max , Active Rain will easily help you receive 50 views in less than 1 hour !

Michael, Great post! Not only did you give great ideas (I'm going to incorporate #4), so did many of the folks who commented.

My suggestion is to pay attention to which post receive the most views and comments. If you look at your AR Stats, you'll see which ones bring people to your page. I've noticed my listing post, MLS stats, and local post get noticed the most. I'm sure it isn't just AR Bloggers who are looking at those post.

We're here to Learn, help one another and get SEO. If we don't have business, we won't have a business to blog about. So, getting SEO is at the top of the list. Happy Blogging and Congrats on reaching 50 in an hour on this post - by the comments here it is obviously it did or will happen! :)

10. Keep it short and to the point, don't take your readers down a rabbit hole.

Good post.  I think pictures help as well.  A good photo seems to engage people to want to see what's with the photo.

This does not mean long posts are not.

Only Twitter sharing bring me usually 50 views quite quickly, but I'm not really concerned about number of views. 1 phone call from a potential client is better than hundreds of views.

I get excited when my Facebook friends share my post on their page. You get double the exposure when that happens. If it's a listing, I'll ask a few people to share. If it's a "what's happening around town" post, I don't have to ask. They share like crazy!

I would add besides a good title, that content is key to getting people to keep coming back and looking forward to what you write. I have added about 30 new subscribers last month (1 per day) and I would like to think it was content based.

In the past the time of the day also influenced how many times your post was viewed.

Local posts are also good. Not only do they get views, but the are directly targeted to the community you are doing business in.

I didnt realize #4 was so beneficial, thank you ! My input would be to make easy to read font and to add photo to content relevant to the topic.
Feature---- Congrats !
