Wordless Wednesday: We Grow Grapes Everywhere In Santa Barbara!

Of course there had to be more that... nothing about growing anything (except maybe weeds) is all that simple! (Says she with two brown thumbs!)

Hello Ron and Alexandra, I wish it was as easy as growing some leaves to make wine, that would be just awesome. 

Hi Ron and Alexandra Seigel ,  I found out about grapes last year. A couple of years ago I planted several grape plants.  This Spring,  I took some time to cut them out of the surrounding trees.  For a while I thought I was Tarzan! 

You made me laugh Ron & Alexandra yet this is something to really be proud of.

I had grape vines once Ron and Alexandra Seigel but we never got to enjoy a single grape...the birds would clean the vines just as they were getting ripe!

Well how about that I see Wine everywhere too:)) so Dick Greenberg  some see red others see white but all good:))Endre

Good morning A & R. You're not kidding. We got a huge dose of what you are saying while in Napa a few weeks ago. For those of us that live in the Northeast, it is a beautiful sight.

That looks great and having such wonderful grapes growing from it is certainly an added bonus!

Hello Alexandra and Ron --- of course, they do.  Nice looking wall but not great for termite control.  

I remember we had a grape vine in our back yard and I always associated it with spiders.

You have the perfect environment for the cultivation of grapes and I love the by-product (wine) Ron and Alexandra Seigel 

I recall the grape jelly that my grandmother made from the grape vines in their back yard in Portsmouth, VA. 

Ron and Alexandra - we had grapes like that all over our home in Pennsylvania.  It is great making your own wine too.

Hi Ron and Alexandra Seigel (A) those grape leaves are a like a staple for an Armenian..... the best time to pick them in New England would be around June 23.... stuffeed grape leaves are my favorite.....

Lovely photos Ron and Alexandra Seigel! This so reminds me of Grandma & Grandpa's home. Off the back poarch and along the garden Grandpa built some high lattice fences and I loved it when the grapes started growing!
